I received my Melody A3 hearing aids last week and felt compelled to write a note of thanks.  I have been wearing hearing aids for the past 5 years.  The last set I purchased from an audiologist was a great disappointment both in performance and reliability.  When I returned to have them repaired for the third time in three years they suggested that I replace the units with new ones.  I asked for a price and was told they would be around $3300.  After paying $2800.00 for the first set which are low end units, I was leery of investing once again with the same person. 

I went on line and found your company along with several others.  I found that most were simply middle men for manufacturers that seemed to be trying to expand their markets. 

Your company was very different.  I decided to "take a chance" with an on-line purchase,  since I could return the units with very little risk.  I couldn't believe the difference.  These units have restored my ability to here in environments (noisy restaurant) that were impossible with my old units.  I can use the phone without hanging it behind my ear - that in itself is such a pleasure.  In addition, I had to use closed caption on the TV because of problems with hearing dialog clearly. Now with these units closed caption is no longer necessary.  Thanks again.

I just received my Melody A1 hearing aids and they feel good -- I forget I have them in sometimes.  I've worn them in a variety of situations e.g. I was in a very noisy business breakfast the other day and was able to carry on conversations with people sitting at the table.  Doesn't sound like a big deal, but that's the type of situation I've avoided for a long time just because it was embarrassing to keep asking people to repeat themselves.  Obviously, there are still things I don't always hear clearly, but so far I've experienced some solid improvement in my ability to hear and understand.  Thanks for the great hearing aids.

I received my Melody A2 today and it works beautifully! I'm hearing stuff I have not heard in years... footsteps, turn signal clicks, and rain on the car roof, music etc. Very exciting. There is so much new information. Everything sounds perfectly normal, except for my voice, which is amplified. Will have to learn to speak more quietly. After wearing it for just a few minutes, I was not aware I had a device in my ear.

Last Wednesday I was in a restaurant with minimum noise and repeatedly asked people to repeat themselves. I received my hearing aid on Thursday and tonight I was in a restaurant with friends. A much noisier place, yet on the noisy/restaurant program channel, I heard EVERYTHING which was said. Amazing. Thanks so much for the great hearing aids.

I wanted you to know that I have just received my digi-Ear D1 and, after ten years of using Analog aids, I am able to hear properly in the orchestra in which I play Viola. The nearby loud brass instruments no longer overload the hearing aid and I can now use a sensible level of volume control. This is a totally new experience for me, I was somewhat skeptical at first but am now convinced that Digital is the way to go. I got more than my money's worth with your digital hearing aids.

I have been wearing the Digi-Ear D1 hearing aid for a week now and I hardly know it is in the ear. I have to check once in a while to know if it is actually there :)

What really amazes me is that I do not have to concentrate on the individual words during a conversation, speech clarity is very good. I also do not have to strain to hear words in songs any any other speech from my stereo.

Just to let you know my hearing problem is not minimal, I have had a perforated eardrum in my right ear since early childhood and the hearing continued to get worse over the years. In fact I cannot hear in my right ear without the hearing aid.

I just wanted to let you know that I am very satisfied and thank you for giving me back the ability to hear in stereo again.
