To Return a
Hearing Aid for Adjustments and
Reprogramming
We Pride Ourselves in Our
Fast Customer Service!
We will reprogram and ship out your hearing
aids the same day we receive them. U.S. and
Canada customers, please allow 5 days from
the day we receive them for us to reprogram
and for shipping back to you. We
return all hearing aids to U.S. and Canadian
customers by Priority Mail, confirmed
delivery. For International customers,
please allow 10 days from the day we receive
them to reprogram and ship back to you due
to Customs delays in your country. We will
ship all hearing aids back to our
International customers by Registered Mail.
If you purchased
a hearing aid from us and need to have the
programming adjusted, we would be glad to
adjust the hearing aid. The following charges will apply:
For USA and Canadian
Customers:
- If you originally provided us an audiogram to
program your hearing aid with your order, we will be glad to
adjust the hearing aid free of charge once within 60 days
of ordering. After the first free adjustment,
there is a fee of $40 for each hearing aid
for each time you ask
us to adjust
the hearing aid.
- If you did NOT provide us an
audiogram and you want us to adjust your
hearing aid, there is an automatic $40 reprogramming
fee for each hearing aid adjustment. There
is no free adjustment.
For International
Customers:
- If you originally provided us an audiogram to
program the hearing aid with your order,
we will be glad to adjust each hearing aid
for a fee of $50 USD for one or two
hearing aids. We will send you an invoice
that you can pay online with a credit
card.
- If you did not provide us an
audiogram and you want us to adjust your
hearing aid, there is an automatic $60 reprogramming
fee for each hearing aid.
We will send you an invoice that you can
pay online with a credit card.
In all cases, you must obtain a Return Product Authorization (RPA)
number from us. Please send us an RPA request by
e-mail to:
RPA@hearingcentral.com or call us at
847-295-6946. If you send us an e-mail, please include the
following minimum information:
- The date the hearing aid
was purchased
- The name of person
who bought the hearing aid
- Address where the hearing aid was sent
- What frequencies you are having problems with
(speech, music, restaurants, phone etc.)
When you receive the RPA number, please do the
following:
- Place the hearing aid(s) into one of the soft
pouches
- Place the soft pouch into a standard bubble-wrapped
envelope
- Write the RPA number and the word "REPROGRAM"
on the outside of the envelope
- INCLUDE THE APPROPRIATE CHECK FOR
REPROGRAMMING, SHIPPING AND
HANDLING, or we
can send you an invoice
that you can pay online with a credit card.
- Return the hearing aid(s) to:
- "Reprogramming" ,
"RPA#" (The RPA number given to
you)
